I went to a sneak preview of the new movie 42. The movie was free because we watched it at the theater on Naval Base San Diego. The people were lined up outside before the theater opened. I didnt think the crowd would be that big. Im not sure if it was because everybody like free movies or because they were really interested in seeing a movie about Jackie Robinson.
Chadwick Boseman plays Baseball legend Jackie Robinson. This movie shows how Jackie Robinson had to face adversity and how he managed to overcome it all. He became the first black male to enter into a Major League Baseball contract. Branch Rickey, played by Harrison Ford, signed him to the team.
The actors did a great job. I like all movies that Harrison Ford stars in so I knew it would be a good movie. The movie felt pretty long but it was 128 minutes. It was a great movie and my husband and I both enjoyed it. At the end of the movie the audience gave a round of applause!
This movie will be in Theaters April 12. Be sure to go and see it!

i hear it is a good movie. most were probably there b/c it was FREE...sad but true. kind of reminds me of the case lot sales at the commissay, i hate those, outside, hot, bugs, and lines forever!! at least my brother enjoys jumping and hoping all over the place to get items while i stay in line.
