Eckrich and Operation Homefront have partnered together to honor and support military families. Tune in on Saturday June 29, 2013 for the Operation Inspiration 30 minute television special on NBC.  It's hosted by Al Roker. Three military families will be featured.

I'm hoping that me and my other blogger friends will be able to spread the word about this television special. I love when I see military families in need, receiving assistance. They really deserve it!

I've been wanting to rename my blog for a while now. I've finally come up with a new name "MY PIECE OF HAPPyNESS" One of my favorite movies is The Pursuit of Happyness. I like how they misspell happiness.

I never tend to do anything by the "book". So, I figured I would spell happiness with a Y. It's different and it's cute! My blog is mainly about my life. Since I love this life that I life, my blog name might as well express who I am.

I plan to make some changes to my blog within the next week or so. Be sure to check back soon so that you can see the new updates! I'm overdue for a new blog look.

So for those of you wondering... How do you giveaway 6,000 followers???
Well I'll tell you...
it's primarily something businesses use to increase their online presence, gain credibility, and look more established.  A social media company is hired to help them get their business out there to their audience via targeted ad campaigns, email blasts, and to their own network of followers via incentive based promotions etc... directly to their specific target market.

Say you're current twitter followers are at 25... it will be increased to 6,025!
The hired social media company will find and peak relevant followers interested in following you - not robots.
Disclaimer: These are real live followers provided by a legit social media company not 1 cent robot fakes
*this is no different than advertisers buying ads in magazines trying to get their brand out there.*
**This is not a scam**

Now this is going to be an aggressive contest!  I mean how could I say no to all those beautiful ladies above?  I couldn't.  So now's your chance to rack up all the entries humanly possible!
Remember the more entries the have the more your odds of winning increase!

Our vehicles have finally arrived in Georgia. It took about three weeks. I don't understand what the delay was and of course Depenable Auto Shippers are not giving explanations. We shipped and paid for our vehicles on May 31, 2013.

The Charger left San Diego around the 8th of June. It didn't get here till today. The Jeep left San Diego a few days later and got here on the 18th of June. I do not understand what they did and why they didn't ship the vehicles together.

I've never had a good experience shipping cars. It's just easier then driving them 1200 miles. I am happy that both vehicles arrived safe and unharmed. Those are my two babies and I missed them! lol. I was glad to return the rental car yesterday. I dislike driving "other peoples" cars. I'm only comfortable in my own cars. Maybe i'm just use to driving my cars.

One things for sure, we know that we should be in one place for two years. It's nice to know that we are not having to pack up and move again anytime soon. Two years is a lot for us, due to his previous orders, and us moving all over the place. When 2015 comes around, I guess I will be ready to do this thing all over again.

Wordless Wednesday

These past 11 days have felt so long. I don't think I've been able to relax until today. My husband finished up his 40 days of leave and starting his first day at his new command yesterday. Funny thing was, we were both nervous. haha.

Since I'm not working I guess I have to live through him right now. He had to show up in his whites and of course he didn't even try and prepare the day before so he was running around the housing trying to piece together the uniform that he hasn't wore since 2011. He kept asking me a billion questions about a billion things and I kept doing the same to him. lol. I guess I'm not really much help at all. At least we were able to laugh about it all, after he came home from work 2 hours later. All that stress and only worked two hours yesterday.

I think I know my way around our new city now. I had to go in cirlces a billion times just to find what I was looking for. I've done this daily since I've been here. I can officially say i'm an expert on where the fast food places, grocery stores, gas stations and Walmart are!

We finally made it to Georgia on Saturday June 1st. It's not as bad as I thought it would be. Took us about two days to find some where to live. I was tired of staying at Navy Lodge. It's not as nice as the one in San Diego.

I'm having some difficulty getting our HHG out of non temporary storage. Hopefully that's fixed today. If all goes as well we should expect our furniture to arrive in about three weeks. Which is still a long time. I'm not sure how long I can survive on a blow up bed.

As all my readers know, I love moving to new places, it's the MOVING part that is the hard part. We have been so busy these last few days. Our cars should be here by next Friday.

I'm going to do a walk thru video of our three bedroom townhouse. It's really nice on the inside. The outside is just "blah" lol.

My husband starts work on Monday so we have a few more days to get things in order. We will be out here till May 2015. I plan to make the best of it!
