I can't believe I'm almost 28. It doesn't feel like it at all. I love my life as it is and I'm loving the direction that it's moving in. Things can only get better for me. I'm not scared to age. Of course I don't know what will happen in the future. I'm just expecting nothing but good things. I'm claiming it!

The one question that I keep getting asked is "when will you have some babies". For some reason I can't give an answer. I don't know when I will have some babies. lol. I don't even know how many I want. I know it's going to happen in the future. I'm just not sure when.

Right now me and Jeremy are trying to enjoy the time that we get to spend together. With his demanding work schedule we don't much time together. We will probably go out to eat with some of my friends and family on my birthday, that's if, he doesn't have duty that day.

Im going to be 28 soon...

The Husband and I decided to take a Mini Vacation to Las Vegas over the weekend. It was spare of the moment. We did not want to really plan anything because we didn't know what his schedule would be.


He got off work around 330am on Saturday and we decided to hit the road 30 minutes later. Las Vegas is a 4 hour drive from San Diego. It's a pretty quick little road trip!
 


We had a great time out there. We decided that we wanted to see a show while we were there, so we purchased VIP tickets for The Eddie Griffin Show. It was worth every penny. It was a great show!


I also finally got a chance to get on a Gondola ride at the Venetian.

 
 
If you haven't heard of Pinky's then you need to google them. The world famous hot dog stand from Hollywood, CA now has a small location inside of Planet Hollywood.
 


I didn't realize that it was spring break until we got there. All the rooms were booked up! We ended up having to stay at the Air Force Inn on Nellis Air Force Base in North Las Vegas. That did not pose a problem for us because it was only 8 miles from the strip and we didn't check into our room till 2am! Jeremy said "we're in Vegas, we do not need to sleep". lol. Needless to say, I needed to sleep. haha



Do any of you watch the show Pawn Stars on ? Well we do and we love this show. Figured we would stop by the actual shop in Las Vegas. It was not all that it's cut out to be. Just a super busy over priced pawn shop. I seen a old classic car that was $100,000!

Las Vegas Vacation
The Husband and I decided to take a Mini Vacation to Las Vegas over the weekend. It was spare of the moment. We did not want to really plan anything because we didn't know what his schedule would be.


He got off work around 330am on Saturday and we decided to hit the road 30 minutes later. Las Vegas is a 4 hour drive from San Diego. It's a pretty quick little road trip!

As you can see Team Mills is back together! My husbands ship made it home to san diego safely. It had been 13 days since we last seen each other. Im just glad that we are together again.

These past two weeks seemed very long. Some days went by fast and some went by really slow.

He has been working since hes made it back. Im looking forward to him getting some days off soon so we can take a few mini vacations.

Im thinking Las vegas for a weekend getaway and then Arizona the next week. Both are about  a 4 hour drive away. My husband has never been to Arizona so this will be his first time going. Figured we could go see the desert area before it getz hot as h#ll.

We are only in San Diego for a few months. He has orders to Georgia. Its nice that his ship had a homeport change back to San Diego because i get to enjoy my city before we get stuck in the middle of nowhere(Georgia). Lol

Hello California!
I made it to Southern California on Monday night. It was a long drive from Washington. I didn't run into any traffic until I made it to Los Angeles. So I figured I would exit the freeway and walk around Walmart while enjoying the AC because it was about 75 degrees outside.

I'm so glad that I get to see sunshine and palm trees! I've been super busy every since I came back to Sunny San Diego. I had really been missing my city. Now that I'm back I feel as though I have a ton of catching up to do.

Since i've been playing catch up with my family and friends it's been hard to squeeze in some time for me to blog. It's about 10:30pm on Thursday. I'm currently trying to relax. The ship that my husband is on was in Washington for Dry Dock and they will soon be back in San Diego. Even though he has orders to georiga he's not suppose to report there till June. So I get to go home to San Diego for a few months!!

Yesterday was the day that I decided to leave Washington State and drive to California.


I got on the road around 230 am. I thought it was 1:30 but I had forgot about the time changed and realized two hours later what time it really was. I drove straight through. Only stopped for gas/bathroom breaks three times and it literally only took a few minutes each time.

I got to Sacramento, CA around 2:30 pm. My youngest brother and his dad lives in Sacramento so I decided to spend the night with them.


I did not go to bed till around 11 pm. Which is crazy because I had been up since 12 am I guess those energy drinks got the best of me and had me super amped up. lol

Now it's Tuesday morning and I'm thinking to stay here another night before heading to San Diego. It's an 8 hour drive from here to San Diego and I'm still pretty tired and not in the mood to drive.

Just to let all my readers know, I have been super busy these last few days so I haven't had anytime to respond to my comments that are left on my blog. I will try to catch up on those later today or tomorrow. I haven't forgot.

GoodBye Washington
