The Husband and I decided to take a Mini Vacation to Las Vegas over the weekend. It was spare of the moment. We did not want to really plan anything because we didn't know what his schedule would be.


He got off work around 330am on Saturday and we decided to hit the road 30 minutes later. Las Vegas is a 4 hour drive from San Diego. It's a pretty quick little road trip!
 


We had a great time out there. We decided that we wanted to see a show while we were there, so we purchased VIP tickets for The Eddie Griffin Show. It was worth every penny. It was a great show!


I also finally got a chance to get on a Gondola ride at the Venetian.

 
 
If you haven't heard of Pinky's then you need to google them. The world famous hot dog stand from Hollywood, CA now has a small location inside of Planet Hollywood.
 


I didn't realize that it was spring break until we got there. All the rooms were booked up! We ended up having to stay at the Air Force Inn on Nellis Air Force Base in North Las Vegas. That did not pose a problem for us because it was only 8 miles from the strip and we didn't check into our room till 2am! Jeremy said "we're in Vegas, we do not need to sleep". lol. Needless to say, I needed to sleep. haha



Do any of you watch the show Pawn Stars on ? Well we do and we love this show. Figured we would stop by the actual shop in Las Vegas. It was not all that it's cut out to be. Just a super busy over priced pawn shop. I seen a old classic car that was $100,000!
