I'm a little late with this post but I'm 18 weeks this week. I didn't get to find out what the baby's gender is. The baby had it's legs crossed and was acting stubborn! Guess the baby is already acting just like the mother. lol

The baby is healthy and all the organs were looking great. Only thing was, we couldn't see what was between those little legs. The baby also had the hand covering the face. I'm assuming she was tired or something. Or maybe she's acting lazy like me. I was sleep right before I left for my doctor appointment. Maybe "SHE" was tired also! Of course I still think it's a girl.

I have had some indigestion this week. It's been bothering me like it did in the first trimester of my pregnancy. Maybe because I've been trying to eat full meals. I'm going to have to go back to just having a bite or two. I do not like the way that indigestion feels. It really bothers me!

I've been having headaches also. I take Tylenol for the headaches but I'm trying some natural remedies starting today. I have an Adult Amber Necklace on. The pain that I've mentioned in my right leg in my prior weeks post, that pain is still there and now I have an Adult Amber Anklet. This has been helping me some. I only feel pain when I'm laying down so now that pain has lessened. I'm hoping by tonight it will just go away all together!

My next doctors appointment is in 4 weeks. They will do another ultrasound and check on the baby. I'm going to drink lots of cold water right before the ultrasound. Someone told me that this makes the baby active.

Also, Thanks to VoiceBoks I've made the list for the Top 50 Military Mom Blogs of 2013. Every vote counts so please go and vote for my blog.

1. What do you miss most about being a kid?
I miss not having any responsibilities! Now that I'm an adult, that care free childhood life seems so peaceful and fun.

2. Did you have a nickname growing up? What was it?
My nickname was and still is Nae. This is because my middle name is Lanae. Almost everyone that knows me calls me Nae.

3. What was your favorite thing to do at recess?
I use to love to play tether ball. I wonder if they still have that on the school playgrounds. I remember the line to play was always super long. All the girls wanted to play.

4. What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a Doctor or a Lawyer. I knew I wanted a professional job but also something important. Then I grew up and almost finished high school and realized that those two professions required more then 4 years of schooling plus intern and externships. Just seemed like to much for me.

5. Did you participate in any school activities?
I participated in track and field and a lot of after school clubs.

6. What is the funniest thing you did as a kid that your parents still remind you about?
I had a life size doll and I would always dress her in my clothes. Since we were the same size. One night I left her hanging off of the couch before I went to bed and since it was dark, they thought it was me hanging limp off the couch, well they thought I was dead! haha

I went to the doctor for my prenatal appointment today. It was a pretty fast appointment. They checked the baby's heart beat and took some blood from me. The blood work is so that can check and make sure that there are no abnormalities. Any time they have to check for things like that I get scared.

The doctor said I was progressing good and the baby had a strong heart beat. I'm still thinking that it's a girl. They also said that the baby can hear but not comprehend. I wish they would of left the comprehend part out. Now my husband thinks he can still say whatever he wants. lol. Whenever he's talking too much I use to say, "shhh, the baby can hear you". Now he has proof that the baby can't understand what is being said. lol.

We can't forget about my big appointment in two days. I will find out the sex of the little baby!!!

In four weeks I go back for my next prenatal appointment. That one will be the nasty one I think. lol. I will have to do the glucose test where they make me drink some super sweet drink to see how me and the baby react to it.

1. What is something you've always wanted to do but are afraid of?
I want to learn how to swim but I'm too scared to put my face under the water.

2. Where do you see yourself in five years?
I want to have a college degree and get back into the work field. No more "Stay at Home Military Wife" lol

3. What are you looking forward to before the end of 2013?
I would love for us to deliver our first baby on December 31, 2013. I know that 37 weeks would be the safest/earliest that I could deliver. A 2013 baby would be great!

4. What are your hopes for your blog?
I want to grow my blog more. I'm changing the direction of it. Within the next month I will have a new layout and template. I'm also changing my blog name.

5. Do you always see yourself living in your current town/city?
No way! I'm in Kings Bay, Georgia and I can't stand it at all. We are suppose to be here till May 2015. I'm hoping to either move home to San Diego or be stationed somewhere nice that feels similar to San Diego, Such as Hawaii!

6. What is your morning routine?
Being pregnant has changed me. I wake up and lay in bed for hours, literally! lol

It's been hard for me to keep up with my routine manicures since I've had little to no energy lately. So I decided to get some acrylic on my nails. No more natural nail care for me.

The acrylics last two weeks and look great for the full two weeks. The regular manicure takes more upkeep. The polish does not last long. Once the polish starts to chip I have to get my nails polished again. My fake nails are the length of my natural nails.

When you get acrylic nails applied to your nails it is sort of rough on your natural nails. They have to drill your nail bed some so that the fake nails will stick. I know it sounds horrible!

The bad thing that happened to me was, once they applied the nails my nails started to burn. I don't know if it's because I'm pregnant and I'm more sensitive or if it was because I haven't had acyclic nails in almost two years. The burning sensation only lasted for about five minutes but it was still weird. At that moment I wish I didn't decide to get acrylics!

On another note, we have 8 more days till we find out the sex of the baby!!

Today I'm officially 16 weeks. I have 12 more days before I find out the sex of the baby.

As for me, I've been sleeping a lot! This is a good thing because it's always hard for me to go to sleep. This week I've even been taking naps. I'm hoping that things will keep going smooth for me.

One bad thing I've experienced is that I've been having leg pain while sleeping. I've been using the pregnancy pillow. It's helping out some. I'm going to try to use the Amber Necklace as a anklet tonight. Lets see if it takes my pain away.

We did some more baby shopping this week. Bought boy and girls clothes again. lol. I'm still finding a ton of cute girl stuff. It's so hard to find boy stuff. Any recommendations on where to find cute boy clothes?

Here's a pic of my belly. My hair was not combed so I cut my head out of the picture. Keep in mind that I had a belly before I got pregnant. lol. Now I can actually say it's a baby belly!!

I'm getting close to be 4 months pregnant. This week has been a busy week for us. We have been out of the house a lot. This would normally be a good thing but my energy levels are down and once I'm out of the house for a few hours I start feeling sick and tired. This sucks. It's been cutting in to all of our fun. I'm like a party poop-er and we don't even party. lol

I still haven't been able to eat much. Right now I'm eating about one small meal a day and a few healthy snacks as often as possible. As soon as I try to eat a meal I feel full after a few bites and I can't eat anymore.

My nose has been really dry when I wake up. I've also noticed that I've had a lot of boogers in my nose. This is not normal at all. I'm cleaning out boogers at least twice a day. I've also been waking up with a dry throat. It almost feels like there's a frog in my throat!

I've been having to pee more frequently. It's always urgent to. I can't hold it at all. If I have to go I have to go asap. This causes a problem when I leave the house. I hate using public restrooms and being pregnant and out and about I'm using them way too much.

Another thing that's been bugging me is my upset tummy. It happens a few times a day. I feel like I'm going to vomit but it doesn't happen. Just having that feeling is almost the same as actually having to vomit. It feels so nasty and it can really kill a great mood.

On a brighter note, I downloaded What To Expect When Your Expecting on my NOOK. Reading this should keep me busy for the next few days.

Do you suggest I read any books that you thought were very informative? Let me know!

This weekend is Tax Free Weekend in Florida. We do not have this where I'm from. So of course, I had to take advantage of this and go do some shopping.

I live about 50 minutes away from St. Augustine, Florida so we went to the Premium Outlets out there and bought me some maternity clothes and a ton of baby stuff. I will not find out what I'm having till August 22nd. So we decided to buy both girls and boys clothes.

The children's clothing stores, such as Childrens Place, Oshkosh and Caters have a great return policy. You can return items whenever you want to as long as you have a receipt. This will work out well for me. As soon as I find out what I'm having I plan to purchase more stuff anyway.

This shopping trip I got things for cheap. Even though it was Tax Free Weekend, most of the stores had an additional 30% or more off of items. This weekend is suppose to be more geared towards parents with kids so that you can do back to school shopping at a discounted price. I'm glad that I was able to enjoy the discounts also.

Here's a few pictures of some of the stuff that we bought this weekend. My husband picked out the boy clothes and I picked out most of the girl stuff.
