Today is the first Duty Night that my Husband has had in the last 74 days. It's been so nice having him home every day at a normal time. It's almost like he works a 9-5 job now.
Therefore I can't be disappointed that I'm spending a night alone.
He will now have duty every 8 days. When he was on Sea Duty he had Duty Nights every 3-4 days. There's even been times when it was every other day. We are both excited about every 8 days. That's like once a week. We are just hoping that his 8th days never falls on Holidays. That would be super nice! lol
I'm looking forward to us going to the Water Park this weekend and having a date night at the movies. I hope that every one enjoys their weekend!

ReplyDeleteWow! He has Duty a lot! And I was whining about my husband having it once every couple months. I'm glad it's not every 3-4 days anymore though! You deserve the time together!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of when my hubby had staff duty, which generally entailed making sure the barracks didn't grow legs and run away. But he had it over a long weekend without fail.
